What is “Central Rec”

“Central Rec” Cheerleading is a competitive cheerleading program which provides a way to learn the important foundations of cheerleading while focusing on cooperation, self confidence, respect, discipline, drive and determination. This program will help young athletes become prepared as well as improve them to cheer for their school teams while competing in 4 to 5 competitions. This program is a great feeder program to our middle school and high school teams. Join us in building life-long friendships while representing our great City of Central!

**Did you miss Central Rec Cheer Tryouts/Placements?
We will have another team placement evaluation on Wednesday, May 17th at 6pm.**

Team Placement is first based on age, then skill level

Team Tryouts/Placement Day is a stress free day, and our staff works hard to make this an enjoyable process. These evaluations/tryouts are for the purpose of team placement. No experience is required to make a team, just a willingness to learn and be coached, and most importantly, COMMITMENT. Motions, jumps, dance and tumbling will be evaluated. Each athlete should attend tryouts with hair pulled up in a pony tail, and wear shorts, tshirt or fitted shirt, and tennis shoes. Tryouts are closed to spectators!  There is a tryout fee of $20 and a permission slip to tryout will need to be signed that day.
